Hilton Garden Inn Stuttgart

„My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night, 9 th April 2 0 1 2 whilst driving from Munich to Cologne. I agree with some of the other reviews in that there is nothing surrounding the hotel except the merc museum and Porsche arena, but if you are visiting for one of these things, location is perfect! - Right next door to the arena, and 1 0 0 m from the merc museum. The rooms were very modern (except weird open layout of shower, which meant part of the bathroom floor also got wet while taking a shower). Dinner was so - so but very big portions and reasonably priced. And they have a free tea / coffee / hot choc machine down in the lobby which is nice. Free parking is available on the street which seemed safe enough, but we opted for paid underground hotel carpark because we had a rental car, which was also not too expensive, about 1 5 euros. Breakfast was included for us which was average but more than enough for us, and with the reasonably low rate we paid for the room, we were very happy overall with the hotel.”

„The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They really went the extra mile to exceed our expectations! The room was spacious for European standards and the breakfast was pretty good as well. Although if not included with the room I don ' t think it ' s worth € 1 9. Kids eat for free which is definitely a bonus. There is also an excellent coffee machine by the front desk and free water which is hard to come by in Europe. I would most definitely stay here again! Excellent customer service from hotel staff”

„Very friendly and helpful reception desk. The hotel is modern, but a bit bleak. However the rooms are a good size, very clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom including a very nice walk in shower. The free wifi is very slow and unreliable. Meals were good rather than excellent, and a bit expensive. The Palm Beach sports bar is good for a drink, especially if you like sports. The location is excellent for the sports stadia, Mercedes Museum and business with Mercedes, but otherwise there is nothing much in this area.”
